It's that time of the season, and there is nothing better then having a murdering Santa spreading Christmas joy and boy oh boy, do we have a good one today. Santa's Slay is a damn good time that's  wrapped up in a cameos and fun moments. Also a few good wrestling and holiday theme killings to ring in the new year.

Ghostbusters | 1989
After saving New York City from a ghost attack, the Ghostbusters -- a team of spirit exterminators -- is disbanded for demolishing parts of the city during the battle. But when Ghostbuster Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) learns that spirits have taken an interest in his son, the men launch a rogue ghost-chasing mission. The quest quickly goes awry, landing them in court. But when the ghosts turn on the judge, he issues an order allowing the Ghostbusters to get back to work.

The Snowman cometh! December cometh! The Holidays cometh!! And so does the Christmas Episode of the Simplistic Reviews Podcast. This episode starts with perhaps our favorite sketch of the year with guest stars we've had on throughout the year. We also enter the rectory and ask advice in a brand new Simplistic Confessional With Father Justin Polizzi. We delve DEEP into TV on TV Roundup and finish off with a little Simplistic Switcheroo. The episode is a fine wine of whimsical nonsense. Do I detect oak? Cinnamon? Rants against Disney+? You'd be right.

It's been years since Chucky, the doll with the soul and the voice (Brad Dourif) of a psychopathic killer, was apparently destroyed in a fire at a doll factory. Now Chucky's manufacturer is remaking the same line of toys with the old, still haunted materials. This resurrects Chucky, who goes after Andy (Justin Whalin), his former owner, who now attends military school. Chucky slashes his way through a string of grotesque murders as Andy tries to stop the homicidal doll and the spirit within it.

Hospital emergency room Dr. Daniel "Dan" Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin), the daughter of a murder victim, uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), a madman who's planning a Halloween mass murder utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. The ritual involves a boulder stolen from Stonehenge, the use of Silver Shamrock masks and a triggering device contained in a television commercial -- all designed to kill millions of children.
